FOOD JOURNAL – Breakfast : Corned Tuna, Scrambled Eggs, Oatbran Cereal and Coffee

FOOD JOURNAL – Last night’s emotional eating episode was a bad one. I haven’t done that in a loooooong time – eat because I’m upset. I need to get focused again.

Anyway, I won’t wallow in guilt, I’m back on diet. Breakfast was Corned Tuna, Scrambled Eggs, Oatbran Cereal and Coffee!

There’s Yogurt in the photo but I wasn’t able to get to it.

FOOD JOURNAL – Breakfast Highlight : Kashi Wheat Cereal

FOOD JOURNAL - Breakfast : Kashi Wheat Cereal, Corned Tuna, Scrambled Eggs, Greek Yogurt and Coffee!

FOOD JOURNAL – Some Carbs for Breakfast for a change: Kashi Wheat Cereal which has 6 grams of fiber in every serving. That’s pretty high!

The downside is, its sweetened with Evaporated Cane Juice which is basically sugar since the Cane they are taking about is Sugar Cane. Sugar and Sugar Cane byproducts are something I avoid in general.

However, since I have been able to pump up my metabolism (by losing 35 lbs on a protein-veggie- fruit-and-dairy diet), I think my body can handle a small amount of Sugar. This Kashi Cereal has only 7 grams Sugar per serving.

Good news:  In spite of my on-and-off emotional eating over the past couple of weeks (because of anxiety over my Double Lumpectomy) my weight today is 137 lbs. Just one pound over my True Weight of 136.

The Lumps turned out to benign, thank God!

The rest of Breakfast was Corned Tuna, Scrambled Eggs, Greek Yogurt and Coffee!

And I have gained something like 5lbs thanks to my Double Lumpectomy AND my Bday which were back to back events that made me eat more than usual, ak!

So diet is back to normal this morning! Breakfast is Turkey Ham, Scrambled Eggs, Greek Yogurt, Sliced Apples and Coffee!

Chicken Tocino and Scrambled Eggs

Good morning and Happy Birthday to meeee! I’m still in Hospital but its a beautiful place because Ron and Diandra are  here and the lumps are not. But the lumps left behind a great remembrance: a story of faith!

Early morning gift: A set of colorful pens from Ron! I love colored pens and use them to write in my journal. Black and blue pens bore me into a stupor. I need lots of ROY-G-BIV in my life!

Well, breakfast was homey; the Hospital cafeteria sent me some Chicken Tocino and Scrambled Eggs which I shared with a starving Diandra. Also ate leftover Chicken from last night.

Good news – My Surgeon gave me my walking papers and I’m free too exit this place! Very excited to go home and relax with my harem of pillows!
