FITNESS JOURNAL – Upper Body Work-out, Bye-bye Bum Knee!!!

At the Rowing Machine in Maic's Gym

Was up with the roosters and in the gym early today. Had an excellent Upper Body Work-out and was able to lift a tad heavier than usual.

Good KNEWS! I tested my Bum Right Knee and I was able to do two to three Body Weight Lunges without any pain or discomfort! I’ve been taking the Supplement Glucosamine/Chondroitin for 3 days now and it feels like the clock has been turned back and my knee is young again (like the rest of me, LOL).

We will see for sure how effective this Glucosamine/Chondroitin is this Thursday when I do my Lower Body Work-out…

FOOD JOURNAL – After a good night’s sleep, I am feeling invincible again! Up early for a Carb Pre-Workout Breakast. Proteins slow me down in the gym and will have some only after my Workout.

Brekkers is: Dukan Galette (Oatbran Pancake), Yogurt with Strawberries and Coffee!

Had barely a teaspoon of organic Maple Syrup on my Galette – a liberty on my part since I will need extra energy to pump some iron…

This is the Couscous meal they are offering Starbucks. Was hungry and rushing so I didn’t have much of a choice but to buy this Salad. Its an okay Salad but IMHO its overpriced at P140, but isn’t everything overpriced at Starbucks?

I found this Crispbread at Healthy Options in Rustan’s Makati. One slice has only 30 calories and 5g of Carbs. It goes quite well with the cheese. I’m supposed to be eating Wholemeal Bread but I can’t find any and I bought ingredients to make Wholemeal Bread at home but my breadmaker is lacking the mixer part, grrrr… but this Crispbread is hopefully an okay substitute.
